How to tell the difference between the “real deal” and an amateur.
In this day in age many people out there are calling themselves photographers. Just about anyone who purchases a nice camera and can build a nice website claims that he or she is a high caliber photographer with high caliber prices! A real photographer will always give you the option of shooting with studio lighting, outdoors, or using natural lighting indoors. I am always checking out the work of different photographers and I have very frequently come across many who claim to be the “real deal” but do not own any studio lighting and their portfolio consists of all outdoor “on-location” photography. Some of these photographers claim to be professionals who only shoot out doors because the studio is boring. My opinion is, sure you may have your favorite setting, but a great photographer, a real professional should be able to shoot in all venues. A great photographer should never get a boring image!
When trying to find the right photographer for your needs, make sure that you view a portfolio of sorts. If you want a great headshot with studio lights do not go with a photographer that has no studio photos in their portfolio. It may seem like common sense but time after time we get clients looking for great studio portraits for a pageant competition and they go to a local guy that did their yearbook photo. The result is a “yearbook” photo not a glamorous headshot that reflects their personality. Choose wisely and shop around!

New Pricing and Options for those of you seeking Headshots or Portfolio Pics
Good morning everyone! What a lovely day! Our studio is currently being remodeled but we are still hard at work getting photos retouched, wedding photos uploaded, and wedding albums put together.
I had a conversation with a very nice gentleman who is also the father of a Texas Teen title holder. He wasn't too sure about photos his daughter needed for her modeling portfolio and comp card.
We had the perfect solution for him! Our modeling portfolio shoots include full-resolution CD's with, "magazine quality" retouches and copyright releases. That way you can take your fabulous images to the modeling agency or to the printing company that makes the comp cards.
This helps cut out the middle man and makes our prices a little more affordable for our customers. We are always looking for ways to help our customers out by providing high quality, fantastic images at reasonable, affordable prices.
